We now begin the second last level of the game (yay!) but the last with
any miscellaneous achievements (boo!), Power Plant. More good news
though, this is the level where I unlocked the achievement for jumping
1000 times. Odds are you'll get it this level, but if not we still have
one more level to go and another one to replay, so it will come soon.

Now you'll start in an area with a fan, plugged in to a battery in the
wall, connected by a red and a blue cable. Take the red cable out of
both sockets and the blue cable out of the socket beside the fan. Take
the other end of the blue cable and connect it to the red socket beside
where the other end of the blue cable is. If done correctly, you'll hear
a loud bang and get thrown across the room, and you'll also unlock:
- Unlocked by 4,167 tracked gamers (14% - TA Ratio = 2.68)29,962
Now take both red and blue cables and walk through the fan into the next
area. here you'll see two outlets, one by a door and one on a wall.
Connect the blue wire to the blue sockets and the red wire to the red
sockets to open the door to the next area. Here you'll see an outlet
next to a door and a battery in the distance. Grab the battery and bring
it by the door. Plug the red wire into the red socket on the battery
and outlet by the door, and do the same for the blue wire. If done
correctly, this will open the gate. Now we will begin the long and
tedious set up for the achievement Will it Fry? which is powering an
appliance with three batteries. Once the gate is open, disconnect the
battery and bring it through with you. Now off in the corner to your
left, you'll see a fan that's knocked down as a result of your
electricity training earlier. Head over and drag it onto the button to
open the door to the next area, and make sure you grab the battery and
bring it with you. Once you head through the door, turn around and on
the wall immediately to the left of the door is a switch. Flip the
switch and the conveyor belt to your left will start moving. Jump and
grab it and ride it around until you're on top of it. Once you're on top
you'll see a platform with a box. Jump up onto it, grab the box, then
jump back down to the platform and run across it back to where you
started. Place the box on the button and head through the door to the
next area, but don't forget your battery!
In this next area, drop the battery you came in with close to the door
you just came through. Immediately to your right against the wall you'll
see a charger and in the distance, another battery and some cables
nearby. Drag the charger to the battery in the distance and plug the
cables into the charger and the battery to charge it up as it's dead.
Once it's charged, there will be a green light on the charger, so
disconnect the battery and the cables and plug the cables into the
battery and the outlet beside the gate. Once they're plugged in, push
the lever beside the gate up and it should open. Make sure you open it
all the way, then grab the charger and drag it right up against the now
open gate. Walk through the gate and you'll see some long cables and a
generator. Plug the cables into the generator and the outlet beside the
gate in front of you thats closed. Now walk around to the back of the
generator and you'll see a red pully thing. Pull this three times and
the generator will start, opening the gate to the next area.
In here, you'll see a forklift and another gate. You need to drive the
forklift back into the previous area, past the generator and to the
other gate where the charger is up against. The controls are
straightforward on the forklift: the wheel turns it, push the lever on
the right forward to go forward and pull back to go backwards. It's
super tough to maneuver so watch the video guide if you're struggling.
Once you manage to get the forklift to the gate, line it up with the
gate and drive into it so the forks are underneath the gate. Hop off and
use the lever on the left of the wheel to raise the arms of the
forklift, and do this until it raises the gate as high as it can go. Now
keep it there and go to the charger on the other side that you should
have left up against this gate. Drag it directly under the gate and
leave it there, but make sure it's not in the way of the forklift. Now
go back to the forklift and lower the arms, and the gate should now be
held open by the charger. Next thing you need to do is drive the
forklift back to the area you first got it. Once here, you'll see a gate
and you need to do the same thing here that you did with the previous
gate. So drive up and get the forks underneath it, then hop off and lift
the arms up to raise it and keep it there. Now backtrack all the way
back to where you left your two batteries and carry them all the way
into the new section the forklift just opened up for you, as well as the
two long cables that were hooked up to the generator.
This next area is directly across a gap from where you rode the conveyor
belt to get the box down. Here you'll see a statue holding a battery.
This battery is important for two achievements, so we have to climb up
there and get it. Stand facing the front of the statue and you'll see
the pedestal it's on has some indents in it. Use the cheese method to
get up here and stand on the pedestal with it. From here, stand on the
right side of the pedestal and you'll notice the tablet the statue is
holding is tilted. So jump towards it and climb up onto it. Careful as
it's tough to maneuver on here. You not need to jump up to his hat. So
from the tablet, jump and grab onto his hat and pull yourself up so
you're standing on his head. Once here you'll see the battery is almost
within reach, so hold out your arms and jump towards it. You should grab
onto the battery and fall down with it, unlocking:
- Unlocked by 3,383 tracked gamers (11% - TA Ratio = 2.97)29,962
If you're struggling check out the video walkthrough to see what I did.
Now that we have the three batteries we need, we have to open something
with them. Past the statue you'll see a gate with an outlet beside it,
as well as some shorter cables nearby. Grab your three batteries and
line them up in a row beside the outlet by the gate, and bring the set
of long cords and the set of short cords.
Now it is important you do this EXACTLY as I'm going to tell you,
otherwise you may need to do this setup again. In the video walkthrough I
did it out of order and the achievement didn't pop. Next time I did it
though, it unlocked for me. You may even do it perfectly and it still
might not unlock according to some people, so hopefully all your hard
work doesn't go to waste, because it's annoying having to set this up.
First, I'm going to label the three batteries you have lined up beside
the outlet. There's the left battery, middle battery, and right battery.
First thing you want to do is take the short blue cord and plug one end
into the blue socket of the outlet by the gate, then plug the other end
into the blue socket on the right battery. Next, take a short red cord
and plug one end into the red socket on the right battery, then plug the
other end into the blue socket on the middle battery. Next, take the
long blue cord and plug one end into the red socket on the middle
battery, then plug the other end into the blue socket on the left
battery. Finally, take the long red cord and plug one end into the red
socket on the left battery, then plug the other end into the red socket
on the outlet by the gate.
If done correctly, this should open the gate and you'll unlock:
- Unlocked by 2,432 tracked gamers (8% - TA Ratio = 3.51)29,962
Make sure to consult the video guide if it will help you more. Don't
forget you may have done it right and it might just not unlock. If
that's the case you'll have to replay the level like I did.
Now that all that fun stuff is out of the way, we can continue on with
the level. Head through the now open gate into the next area and you'll
see three boilers on you right and some coal laying around. Jump up to
the doors on the boilers and grab them to pull them down. The one on the
right is lit but the other two are not, so you have to light them. Past
the boilers turn to the right and you'll see a path leading underground
in between a wall and a smoke stack. Head down here and you'll see a
torch. Pick up the torch and head back up to the two boilers that are
turned off. Stick the torch inside them and they should turn on. Now the
problem is you don't have enough coal, so you have to go get some from
the island across the bridge.
How are you going to do that? Well see that fancy dump truck in front of
you? You get to drive that bad boy up the road in front of you to the
quarry. Now climb up to the cab of the truck and you'll see a steering
wheel and a lever to the right of it. What I did, to ensure the truck
doesn't go flying off the road, was push the lever forward slightly. The
truck has two forward and reverse speeds, one for a light tilt and one
for a full tilt. I went with a slower speed just because I wasn't
confident in my abilities to drive a truck at full speed. So take your
time and work your way up the road in front of you. Refer to the video
guide if you want some more help. Once you're at the quarry you'll see a
machine with a shoot coming out of it at the bottom. You want to park
the bed of the truck right under the shoot, then jump down and head into
the cave on your right. Follow it around and you'll reach a massive
pile of coal beside a conveyor belt. Now we are going to load up on coal
for one of the miscellaneous achievements. Grab 10 pieces of coal and
throw them onto the conveyor belt (I grabbed 2-3 extra just in case some
got lost in transport). Once you've done this, head back to your truck
and stand in the cab and wait until all the pieces have fallen into the
bed of the truck. Once they've all fallen in, drive your truck straight
and follow it around the cave and you'll reach another road that will
take you back to where you started. Again take it slow down this hill,
it's actually a bit easier to traverse because it's straighter and
downhill, so you gather some more speed this way. Once you reach the
main part of the level again, if you loaded up 10 pieces of coal from
the quarry and successfully transported them back, you'll unlock:
- Unlocked by 6,970 tracked gamers (23% - TA Ratio = 2.07)29,962
Now drive the truck back to the boilers and hop off. On the left side of
the truck should be a lever on ground level. Flip it and it will raise
and lower the bed of the truck, so dump out all your coal. Now I'd
suggest to check your achievement progress for the Petrolhead
achievement, which requires you to travel 1 km with gas vehicles. You
can just keep driving the dump truck or forklift around, whichever is
easier for you, until you unlock it:
- Unlocked by 4,919 tracked gamers (16% - TA Ratio = 2.47)29,962
Now that we have our coal, we need to put three pieces into each of the
boilers. Do this and smoke will start to rise from the smokestacks close
to you. Head back to the smokestack that is beside the underground area
where you got the torch and walk in. If the boilers are fully heated,
you should get blown by the fan to the top of the smokestack. Once
you're at the top, grab on and pull yourself up. Now, facing the next
smokestack, jump over to it. There is a fan in here so just simply fall
into the fan and it will keep you level with the top of the smokestack,
making it easier to traverse to the other side. Once on the other side
of the smokestack, pull yourself up and you'll see the last smokestack
you need to jump to with the exit sign on it. You'll see a ledge just
below the exit markings on this smokestack, so jump and grab for this
ledge and pull yourself up. Now carefully edge your way to the left
along this ledge and climb through the hole in the smokestack. While
you're falling you'll unlock:
- Unlocked by 7,994 tracked gamers (27% - TA Ratio = 1.93)29,962
Congratulations, you've completed all the levels with miscellaneous
achievements. Feel free to go back and replay levels to get any
achievements you have missed or are struggling to get. We now have two
achievements left and one more level to cover, however the next level is
only relevant when you're going for the Speedrun achievement. So if
you've been following this walkthrough in one playthrough, let's head on
to the final level of the game.
